The last 24 hours

I think I have finally figured out how one could create a TV series about a 24 hour period.

The last number of weeks have been very challenging for so many reasons.

The most challenging thing, of course, has been saying goodbye.  As one dear friend said, "I will just need to pretend it is not happening."

There have been many tears shared with many dear friends.  There have been so many generous offers of help and so many helping hands, which only go to remind us how much we will miss you all.

Be well and please remember to avoid Logan Airport tomorrow morning.  With the number of bags we have we are certain to mess up the baggage handling system.

Cheers,

Nord

Welcome - preparing for our journey

Dear all,

Happy Holidays to everyone.  This blog is going to track our journey to Melbourne.  We will try to update it on a weekly basis.  That may be a bit optimistic right now as we feel a wee bit behind in our preparations.  And that is a bit of an understatement.

For those of you who may have just received a holiday card and wondering exactly what is going on and whether or not we are pulling your leg ... here is the short version.  We are moving to Melbourne so that Margaret can attend the Melbourne Steiner School Seminar to become a Waldorf Teacher.   This teacher training program runs for two years.  The children and I are along for the ride.

Please stay tuned to this site to find out what you can help us store in your garage for the next two years.

Cheers,

Nord
